Introduction
FR EN ESWelcome to one of the first websites exclusively dedicated to politics in Quebec.
Indeed, most websites dedicated to canadian politics have a pan-canadian approach, talking almost exclusively about politics at the federal level and barely saying a word about provincial politics, including Quebec. Even though this perspective allows to measure how Quebec evlove into the canadian federation (if there ever is a mention about it), it doesn't allows to make any political analysis exclusively on Quebec. No matter the fact that Quebec is included in the federal political system, it constitutes nonetheless a political system on its own, and have it's own characteristics. Quebec's politics is an object of study in itself, as well as scottish, german or catalan politics.
To offset such lack, and to publicize the Quebec nation as an object of political study, so is the purpose of this website. Of course, it's content won't be exhaustive, since such domain of human activity as politics is so huge. However, we hope that you will find all the informations you need, even if we are conscious that we won't have all the answers to your questions. By visiting this site, who's intended audience includes students and people from the academical circle as well as whoever is interested to politics in Quebec, you shall find a mine of information about political life in this state, especially about the political system, the political parties, the different elections and referendums held since the XIXth Century or the main issues under debate in Quebec.
