The Parti démocratie chrétienne du Québec was founded in 2000, but obtained its authorization of the Directeur général des élections in 2002. The party was rested by fundamentalist Christians related to the Centre d'information nationale Robert Rumilly.
The party advocates for radical right-wing policies combining Quebec nationalism and Christian fundamentalism.
